About Me
I absolutely LOVE to design houses. Seeing something being built that was once just a thought in my head is one of the most fulfilling experiences one could have. Each project is unique and presents different challenges. Coming up with creative solutions to these challenges is exciting to me.
I knew I wanted to design houses since I was a young boy watching carpenters build an addition onto our house. This fascination with houses continued thru high school and college as I learned how to build and design.
It has been over 20 years since I designed my first home, but I still do not get tired of creating beautiful places to live. I look forward to creating yours.
I grew up in central Texas and moved to Austin in 1978. I received my bachelor of architecture degree from the University of Texas in 1983 and received my architecture license in 1987. After working for several architectural firms, I decided to start my own practice, focusing on residential architecture in 1995. I am an active member of the American Institute of Architects (A.I.A.) and practice all over the Austin and central Texas area.
